Chances are that what you have been told about losing weight has been completely false!

If it was true, you would have already lost the weight.

Many people have this untrue idea that the ONLY way to lose weight is through cutting calories dieting and hard-core exercise – the “no pain-no gain” approach – thinking this is going to burn off fat calories. This is absolutely NOT true. They ignore the subject of hormones.

Believe it or not, there is ONLY one right way to lose the weight and it MUST be geared toward your body type. And it definitely MUST be the healthy way.

Your body type gives clues on what type of fat you have. But just because you have this body “type” doesn’t mean you have a disease. This is not meant as a diagnosis of any kind – only your medical doctor can diagnose medical conditions.  Read More

Issues Affecting Weight Loss

Body-influencing factors include junk foods and other substances that have a negative influence. These include packaged and boxed foods, alcohol, caffeine, drugs, hormones, pesticides, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, artificial coloring, trans fats, and MSG. Many of these substances can damage the liver, which is like a filter that keeps the body clean.

Avoid Monosodium Glutamate (MSG): MSG is a flavor enhancer, but it causes fluid retention. There are many hidden sources of MSG: modified food starch, autolyzed yeast, calcium caseinate, sodium caseinate, hydrolyzed protein, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, carrageenan, glutamic acid and yeast extract. MSG is abundant in many restaurant foods, taco mixes, sauces, gravies, boxed food, soups and dressings, so it’s important to read labels carefully.

Avoid synthetic vitamins: Unfortunately, most vitamins sold are made synthetically. This means they are not made from actual food, but from chemicals and petroleum. In nature, vitamins come in complexes composed of many parts, never in isolation or in high concentrations.

Avoid anything artificial: This includes artificial sweeteners and sugar alcohols (including Splenda). It also includes artificial colors, flavors, high fructose corn syrup, and hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils. If you need a sweetener, use the herb Stevia. Below are common processed foods to avoid, with healthy alternatives listed next to them.

Pain Neutralization Technique

INTRODUCING THE Remarkable PAIN ELIMINATION TECHNIQUE

THE PAIN NEUTRALIZATION TECHNIQUE works on a patient and shuts off their Tenderness FROM TRIGGER POINTS by simply Utilizing NEUROMUSCULAR REFLEXES that each of us is born with.

What’s THE PAIN NEUTRALIZATION TECHNIQUE ?

I’ve been learning Dr. Kaufman’s PNT for many years. I’m astonished every time I work on a patient and shut off their pain by using this extraordinary method.

The PNT system is founded on long-established scientifically reviewed and recognized physiologic standards of the musculoskeletal structure. What you will find groundbreaking is that Dr. Kaufman came up with a system to completely use the biological reflexes of the body to turn off pain — creating instantaneous recovery.

Just how Does PNT Succeed at turning off pain?

Every muscle in the body has opposite muscles (Flexors and Extensors) . If an individual muscle tightens up its opposite muscle needs to relax to accomplish this contraction e. g. biceps(front of the upper arm) contracts when curling a dumbbell up towards the chest and at the same time the triceps relax. By way of a programmed- in reflex system,  when an individual muscle contracts your trusty nerves instantly directs a transmission to the opposite muscle(the tricep muscle in this case) triggering a shutting down of that muscle. If you find yourself in pain or get trigger points, the muscles have been in a state of contraction and can not relax. When using the P. N. T. method we shall induce a trigger point to loosen up by exciting the tendon of an opposite muscle during the same time putting on a light pressure to your sore area.

Once one fixes the right reflex for the trigger point, in just seconds, the area will no longer be sore whenever pressed. Frequently the patient’s problems related to that trigger point will resolve as well. Occasionally indicators get better immediately, infrequently they may resolve over many treatments.

The P. N. T. therapy is a totally more advanced method for healing trigger points than earlier systems (e. g. deep muscle massage, nimmo or myofascial release). The goal of P. N. T, isn’t to manage trigger points by applying pressure on them or utilizing mechanical force to manage the trigger points as do other systems, but applies neurological reflexes to switch them off. After we get to the right reflex the trigger point is shut down off in just a few seconds. People are always surprised that tender areas can be eradicated in mere seconds and the painful sensation is gone.  Especially when they have been suffering for years.

What exactly are Trigger Points?

Trigger points are spots of decreased blood circulation in muscle tissue, much are more commonly seen taking place in the bellies of muscles – and are very tender when pressed or palpated. The trigger points  feel like a slight swelling, or perhaps like lumps or nodules within the muscle tissue that bring about or intensify many different kinds of pain issues.

Complaints that can be treated using PNT:

* Lower lumbar pain,

* Sciatic problems ( pain radiating down the leg),

* Cervicogenic headaches,

* Migraine headaches,

* jaw issues,

* Neck pain and stiffness,

* Shoulder pain and immobility issues,

* and many more musculoskeletal complaints.

A hyperactive trigger point creates discomfort even when there is no evident harm to the muscle from injuries. When you’ve got to utilize pressure on the point to make it be painful they are known as “latent” trigger points. Nearly all trigger points are usually latent trigger points that are only sore when pressure is placed on them. The trigger points are in locations that are near the position of acupuncture points. A trigger point may be found in a muscles, ligaments, tendons, and regions of scar tissue or around the junction of the muscle or ligament to a bony prominence that may be overly sensitive to pressure when compared to surrounding tissue.

Acute vs Persistent (chronic type) of trigger points

Trigger points may be acute or persistent.  Acute trigger points will usually correct in a short time and can be handled simply with normal massage. Persistent trigger points are usually the culprits commonly to blame for referred pain sensation or soreness at a remote place i. e. trigger point in the upper shoulder area causes pain down the arm and up into the neck. These persistent trigger points result in diminished blood to the muscle resulting in lack of nourishment to the tissue. This lack of nourishment provokes and makes it feel hard and painful.

Discovering these types of trigger points is an important part of an initial assessment prior to neutralizing the trigger points so that the patients complaints can be handled without guessing. After the trigger points are improved, pain complaints often subside. Many of the trigger points will get better after each procedure and be undetectable after a few visits. Not all discomfort is because of trigger points, however, removing trigger points may often, but not at all times, get rid of a majority of complaints.
